im on rebug 4.70 dex cfw trying to get online, i installed sen enabler and psn patch etc, psn patch i dont think is installed correctly because it shows original and current idps or psid or whatever as the same, also sen enabler states that the firmware is not supported.. so thats where im at, i fully admit im a noob to this so any help will be highly appreciated.

If original and current idps are the same, are you sure you're spoofing it?
If you want to change the file idps and psid, it's in the psnpatch.cfg that was supplied with the rar you downloaded
Also what do you want to use sen enabler for? If you want a pkg that clears history I recommend PSNinja v4

thanks for the reply, told you im a noob. it still doesnt make sense that sen enabler wont install considering its supposed to be for cex and dex cfw, i digress.

i have psninja installed for wiping, its just that sen enabler was already installed on here when i got it back from the downgrade service and it all worked fine so thought it should really be on there.

Update: right so all i seem to be able to do on psnpatch is disable cfw syscalls. Real and current IDPS are the same, file says all 0's but it will not enable (press square and nothing happens) if i press X it disables syscalls but still shows my real idps....

starting to wish i didnt try converting to dex tbh, was all working perfectly before

Right. so as per your advice im not using SEN. i have a few other issues though, ive enabled COBRA mode and webman with rebug toolbox, spoofing using that as psnpatch isnt letting me spoof, just allowing disabling of syscalls.

i also had to spoof the psid to cex in rebug toolbox but it doesnt save.. every time i exit it reverts to dex mode and i cant get online properly, signs in to psn but cant access anything like profiles etc.

been googling since about this time yesterday and my brain hurts. someone please save meeeeeee lol..

if you on rebug 4.70 dex then you dont need SEN enabler because this is for lower firmware 4.65(example) to spoof to 4.70,
just go to Rebug toolbox,Utilites, Change Active PS3ID to EID5:85(CEX) (if you turn off or restart your PS3 you will need repeat step from UTILITIES) use Psn patch to disable syscall and sign in.(you go online with your original CID)

For Psn patch to spoof CID you need to have new CID,edit psn patch cfg file with your new CID put on your usb,right port start Psn patch and spoof cid.

Ok, add me on Skype; "StunzTehGod". I am going to help you downgrade to 3.55, then convert to PS3ITA 4.50 DEX. You won't need that SEN Enabler shit then.

i was trying the ps3id spoofing from dex to cex and it didnt seem to work, though in webman the ps3id does show up as having the 87 on the end instead of 82 of whatever it is. still get an 8002a224 error on attempting a sign in. disabled syscalls with webman ofcourse too.

stunz i dont have skype, my phone doesnt like it for some reason..


Edit: finally figured it all out.. still dont know the cause of the problem...

basically, the idps was constantly showing as 00000000000000000000000000000000 even without any spoofer, luckily i had a copy of the idps from trying pexploit a while ago so i could use ccapi to change the idps to that from file (which also fixed the fact that the eid wasnt saving as the CEX value) i then changed the spoof in webman to that from file so it did that at bootup and pressed R2 and triangle to wipe syscalls.

now i need to figure out how, and if i even need to hide my original idps.. hope perhaps this helps someone else in the future. feel free to leave the topic open for others facing similar problems to ask or close it... up to you fantastic admin fellas
