Ok so i followed those steps exactly now when i turned my system back on instead of being greeted with the ps3 home screen i was greeted with the message "Connect a controller via usb cable, then press the PS button" now i havent done this yet instead i just turned the system of and kept it of i dont want to do anything wrong so i would like to know once i connect a controller via usb what do i do next? Thanks guys!!!

Also is this a sign of it being stuck in the safe mode loop or a sign of it being bricked, or best case senario is everything fine and i just need to follow a few steps? Thanks again guys!!
