No, the ban risk will be much higher

If a CID is used on more than 1 PS3 Sony will see it more easily

Ban risk would increase, if anything then make sure they are both using the same PSID also and not at the same time.

cool this is what i was looking to do,
I thought they might of had some checks, like having 2 mac addys on one network they collide and cancel out one another.
