can you put it in fsm with dongle?

if so then put only this file on a usb disk in the right most port of the ps3 and turn it on.

wait a few minutes

it will create a log file on the usb if successfull

but it will not switch off.

You must login or register to view this content.

after a few minutes waiting pull the usb and check it on pc if there is a log file on the usb get in touch for the next step.

if there is no log file we will have to try another lv2diag to wipe the flash, it all depends on what firmware version you are actually on... 4.55 or 4.70.

because if we get the ps3 into fsm and use the lv2diag.self that i have prepared it will wipe the flash memory of the ps3.

then we get it out of fsm mode using the other lv2diags i have prepared we can then boot into recovery mode and install any firmware version that the ps3 supports from factory.

i can do this on all ps3 versions as i have made lv2diags to get out of fsm all the way up to 4.70, you are no longer stuck in fsm.

I’m too L33T
You noobs totally dont know what you're talking about, that fsm way has been outdated since 2012 Not Happy or Sad, requires more work, mre risk to screw up....
He probably used a patcher for the wrong version so it boots into the "cannot run properly" screen.
Just boot into recovery mode and the CFW will install fine....
