Post: Please help! Corrupted data on CFW!

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); My issue:
Every time I start the PS3 I get the message 'The system was not turned off properly the last time it was used...'

How my issue occured:
Okay so I was impatient while downloading some stuff and then I clicked on something and my ps3 froze, so I tried holding down PS3 button to reset, it didn't... and then, being the idiot I am, I switched off the PS3 from the plug...

How I tried to resolve the issue:
So I rebuilt the database and restored file data thing in safe mode and I still get this message every time I start the PS3. I clicked OK to the message but all it did was restart the PS3 and then show me the same message and this continued on and on until I press circle and exited, it then actually attempted to restore the PS3 but it didn't work because when the PS3 restarted I got the message again.

So I keep getting this message and I know something is corrupt, what do I do?

If I reformat my PS3, I don't have any backups or anything... would I lose my CFW? And should I instead go to 3.55 CFW/OFW and reformat from there and so I can instill QA toggle thing like when you first install CFW?

Please help
Can anyone kindly do step-by-step tutorial please?

Nevermind! Guys the problem has gone away apparently... But please do reply incase it's not fixed.

What I did was: I realised that the moment my ps3 froze I was downloading DLC for a particular game, so I deleted the entire game in Multiman and restarted PS3 and viola! Corrupted data message gone. I just hope it doesn't come back...

Do a barrel roll!
When you get it while playing games after freezing, you lose no data. Just press circle.
If your ps3 shuts off while installing somethingy,maybe deleting too, push X.

you did the correct procedure. it should not be a reoccurring problem.
