"yes do that. see what happens." (privateuser3250) Okay, I'm reinstalling the entire game back on my PS3, completely new, with the files you modified for me. Then, I'll extract each pkg file and add it to my root of the USB after completing the download for the game. Then, I'll install the pkgs. I'll let you know how it goes,...

"without going any further with patching the dlc if needed etc. the game should now start, use multiman or iris man, scan for games." (privateuser3250) Should I install the pkg's the way he told me to? Because currently I don't think I can install them. I renamed them all to INSTALL.pkg as they were previously INSTALL.PKG Should I renam...

"looks fine, you should be good to go as is." (privateuser3250) Here's what the guy said: Literally what you do is: 1. Install Multiman (if you haven't already got it) and start the file manager function (Select+Start Button Combo) 2. Find your ripped copy of DA:O Ultimate and highlight the PS3_GAME folder. Press R3 and it will create a...

"i beleive the "modded" aspect of the eboot they are referring to is simply it being patched to work on different firmwares. i dont think they are meaning its modded for cheats. difference firmware versions used different keys to encrypt the eboot.bin files you need to match the encryption to the key your firmware uses and thats what sce...

"pc program called scetool, if there are any other files that have the extension sprx in the game then they will also need patching." (privateuser3250) Okay this guide tells me to do this for the eboot fix thing: 1. Rip your copy of Dragon Age Ultimate Edition and store on your internal or external drive. 2. FTP or copy your game over to your PC....

EBOOT fix for a game? Help?

CLOSED Started by User47989296+4586486 , 04-13-2015 01:55 AM.

Nevermind! Guys the problem has gone away apparently... But please do reply incase it's not fixed. What I did was: I realised that the moment my ps3 froze I was downloading DLC for a particular game, so I deleted the entire game in Multiman and restarted PS3 and viola! Corrupted data message gone. I just hope it doesn't come back...
