(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok so i am making this post for my friend because he can't speak english too well. ok so he wanted to updated his ps3 (its jailbroken CEX) and he put the usb in, went into safemode and tried to update it, when the ps3 found the program on his flashdrive it asked it he wanted to updated and he said yes. so it went through the process of updating and when his ps3 came back on he didnt find the "install package" folder, so he checked his current version and it said 3.70. can anyone please help us out. thanks

Seems like your friend left a game in the blu ray drive and the ps3s took the games update instead so now your friends on 3.70 ofw so only way he can get that ps3 back to 3.55 or any cfw is by using a hardware flasher. For example the e3 flasher but you/he must check if the ps3s compatible first.

lmao yes his dumb ass told me he left MW3 in the tray... smh . thanks for your swift reply, how can i see if its compatible and if im gonna get him the e-3 i might as well update it to the current OFW right?
