its only going to be EID 85 if they are in europe, it will be 87 for UK etc etc. 82 is dex.

i would love to know why the dex consoles actually try to spoof it to a dex target id. there has to be something to do with debug vsh.self otherwise there is absolutely no need to use that target id.

as far as i understanding the only main difference between cex and dex is that the vsh.self has been resigned to be a debug self.

correct me if im wrong.

but rebug would save everyone a lot of time if they simply didnt use 82 target id unnecessarily. its like its trying too hard to be an original debug console with no benefit.

yeah sure
the dex cfws are mostly used for modding so there is no need to use that dex id
that would save us some time , i remember myself forgetting to go to rebug toolbox when i use psnpatch i had to reboot and that was fustrating

id dont know at present what is modified in the dex version to require the target id to be 82 at boot. if there is nothing that requires this to be 82 then its been a hell of a waste of time for everyone involved putting it back to original target id.

im going to look into it.

i wonder if vsh.self from d-rex will port over to rex and thus be a more noob friendly tmapi method.
i dont know any other reason an end user would want a dex firmware if they didn't intend to use tmapi.
