I am planning to do a conversion from CEX to DEX and I'd like to know if you would suggest me to follow the guide you posted on NGU without changing cfw or bringing my ps3 on ofw 3.55 and installing a DEX cfw.

I just converted from Habib 4.66 to Rebug 4.65.2 yesterday. All I did was install Rogero Downgrader, then install Roger 3.55 (3.70) and then update to Rebug 4.65.2 REX. (The CEX version of Rebug)
Then I followed Kryptus tutorial (You must login or register to view this content.) (the "CEX to DEX (Without Flash Dumps)" way) and now I am on Rebug 4.65.2 D-REX.

I'd highly recommand using Kryptus tutorial when converting to DEX. Just make sure you disable your Spoofer before installing any firmware and make sure you don't have a disc in your PS3's drive.

use rebug 4.65.2 rex - enable qa in debug tool box - use idps tool - follow steps -- your be on dex - kryptos has a guide here dude.

yeah man using the sprx is great - but you can use it also on cex - using ghosts menu - but use extortion rather the endevour and just rename the file - but dex is worth the change + i think there will be more and more sprx releases ..

I'll do it then! as far as I know, everything works better on DEX + I want to get rid off Ccapi because my ps3 keeps freezing everytime I use a tool and I'm not fully able to use LTS properly. I'll do it as soon as I can

cool man - if you get stuck throw me a pm - i use ccapi no probs with the rev4 version for me - but i dont rtm i sprx and scripts for me -- lts looks smart tho.

Hmm I think I'll do the same and go from Rogero to rebug then to DEX

if i am on habib 4.66 can i go to rebug 4.70 cex version ? or do i have to downgrade before going to rebug 4.70

I guess you could go straight to Rebug 4.70 REX and then switch to D-REX. I just downgraded first because I was on 4.66 and wanted to go to 4.65.
