I have 3.55 OFW ps3, and I would to place a CFW but I see a whole bunch of different people like Rebug, Habib, Rogero; What are the difference?

Can I jailbreak to any of them and switch whenever there is a firmware update online?

I want to play online and stuff, and most of the time it ask me to update firmware on OFW, I don't know how it works on CFW.

If you're a beginner i'll recommend Switching to a Cfw firmware that is CEX not DEX (Thats your choice.) the cfw firmwares i would recommend are either Rebug or Ita example(4.50 ITA Cex) or (4.65 Rebug Rex/ which is CEX) but if you want to be on DEX which is better for modding on games then i'll go to 4.50 ita dex.
Starting on CEX would be recommended if you're a beginner and then later on when you learn the basics of modding you can go on to dex.. Both cex and dex are good but dex is better.

Like.. online I keep seeing Cobra, I believe that was a type of way to Jailbreak or downgrade, but will it effect me if I didn't use that type of process?

I wouldn't recommend getting a firmware with cobra on it. Due to the fact that not alot can be done on it. And yes kik me @ FearlessCrimes
