So what are you having problem with? We may not need to go to skype if you let us know what your problem is.

Basically i downgraded to 3.55 which went fine and then i tried installing the upgrade to get to 4.30 so i could go to any firmware. Then during that upgrade the operation cancelled. Noe everytime i turn my playstaion on it tries and does the update but it cancels half way through everytime. I have even tried put it in recovery mode but it still tries and does the update.

Did you downgrade using a downgrading firmware or a flasher?
Edit: if you used a downgrading firmware then you have to install 3.55 OFW or CFW before going up to 4.30 CFW, you can also go to any firmware from 3.55 OFW/CFW

I down graded using a rogero 3.55 downgrader which was firmware and do you have skype it will be easier on there

Install geohot firmware and enable qa, And depending on what firmware your trying to install in some cases you can power down your ps3 and turn it back on and it will resume update process.

Everyime i urn my ps3 on it resumes the update but hen fails everytime. i cant get past the update screen

Go to recovery mode and select update firmware. Put 3.55 OFW or 3.55 Kmeaw CFW on your USB and plug it into your PS3. Then let it update.
