I'm currently running Rebug 4.70.1 D-Rex on my ps3 slim, however i am not too sure what the ideal temperature is for the console. the 'cpu' and rsx' roughly sit between 50-60 when i play games online. I know there are pkgs like control fan utility in which you can alter your fan speed.

My quesiton is do i need to alter my Ps3 fan speed? or is the temperature its at fine?

i could get the temps down to less than 30 if i put the fan on 100% but the noise ruins everything.

the ideal temp would be a comprimise between noise and cooling.

so just use webman to set a max temp and automaticaly adjust the fan to maintain that temp.

I use webman , via cobra , and after 5 hours playing online it's never gets above 52c fan set at 55% . With a min fan speed 40%
