coreos is on the hdd on nor models. format it in pc.

edit - thats wrong

possibly dump the flash to pc and then split the flash in to the ros 0/1 etc files using something like ps3 nor tool or flowrebuilder and then replace the files with valid ones and pack it back and flash back to ps3.

obviously the normal e3 flasher tutorial will cover getting the dumps off the ps3 and using a patcher. Then you should be able to figure out which options to pick to get it to extract the flash into the files instead of just doing the normal jb patch.

you can get the coreos files from the cfw pup file you had installed. use something like mfw builder as an easy way of extracting it, puts the files into a folder in user/appdata/local/temp/ps3mfw/ofwps3 (ofw being cfw in the case of using a cfw as the input file).

- one other thing make sure you get a valid dump do it many times and compare each one. make sure there are no errors by validating the dump.
