First: Do you have a Fat or Slim?
Second: Is your model downgradable with a hardware flasher?
Third: Do you have a USB with atleast 1GB of storage or more?

Do some research... Best bet would be to look at a site which sells premodded PS3 as well as Xbox 360s (If that interests you)
