Post: PS3 Issue Downgrade (e3 flasher) Help
05-19-2015, 09:53 PM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello, my PS3 doesn't read any disc. Can I still downgrade it using an e3 flasher regardless? My PS3 is a slim CECH-2001A. Thanks!!

yes you can just make sure that when your updating to the cfw to have the disk drive ribbon plugged in to the motherboard

Okay so I plug in the disc drive ribbon into the motherboard even though it doesn't read any disc?

you have to have it plugged in right before you use the rogero downgrader and before you update the cfw to like rebug rogero or any newer custom firmwares Smile

Oh okay cause im gonna downgrade without esata station. So I should flash the PS3 for downgrade then put the ps3 back together then do the actual downgrading and updating (files) ?
