turnt my PS3 on one morning, to find it came up with a red screen. It had loads of different languages on it. And does not load the XMB. I hadn't installed any off it, I haven't got a clue why it happened, any help?

you might have to format the hard drive in windows on a pc.

but if this happened for no reason you might be looking at a hardware failure eg the hard disk itself.

Format you Hardrive on a pc or another PS3 Smile

then install the firmare you was on in safe mode
