(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); My PS3 Slim feels very hot sometimes (DEX) I installed ccapi to check the temperatures every now and then whilst in game. I discovered that the highest it goes is 66 degrees with the fan speed edited with webman. Is my temperature good? Because I get really paranoid.

if u change ur termal paste then it will drop to like 50 maybe even lower 70 and above is very bad i think

if you get 66º on full load then its ok, above 70º its not so good. Control fan utility is a nice app to mod the fan speed

i have mine 45% fan speed min and it stays around 51/53 - even after 6-7 hours playing - thats on dex

66 is pretty decent. It's average for most PS3s whilst under load to be honest, nothing to be worried about. I believe PS3 begin to throttle at 80c which is not good.
