Bridging does work on OSX though and my PS3 is connected through my laptop. I need a GSC software for mac, and if you guys can help me find one, I would really appreciate that.

You could boot camp with windows then it's like having the actual OS but still keeping OSX

I use Parallels Desktop. Just change your date and time when you open it to keep the trial forever. It's an amazing VM! Trust me it does everything with no issues. Also lots of option for network settings to fix your issue. PM me for more questions
