1. If my internet goes down I have no way to inject my mod menu to play custom games in local mode so I can use my mod menu. Can I directly connect my laptop that has the gsc injector directly to my jailbroke ps3 via ethernet cable?
2. If the answer is yes please help me and provide the steps to take.
3. Just a note: My mod menu/gsc injector works great when my internet connection is up, and yes the PS is jailbroke 4.70 Rogero Cobra CEX.

I hope I have been specific enough so that I don't get a reply of "Yes you can, there is an ethernet plug on the laptop & the PS. I know this already

But yeah if you have like usb modem on your pc you can connect your ps3 and pc directly each other. Just make sure when you go to your network properties at pc make sure internet sharing is enabled. Then try to connect your ps3 internet. By choosing wired setup and all automatic

He means can he use just an ethernet cord to use his gsc injector,rtm tools etc with out an internet connection present. This is a really good question i also would like to know.

I use ccapi to connect my tools and i dont believe ccapi works with out an internet connection as it requires the ip address from your ps3 and with out an internet connection to your ps3 wont produce its ip.

Can anyone shed some light on this?
