This qeustion prolly dont belong here, plz excuse me if thats the case but its just a quick qeustion then i should delete it after, how do i find the exact model info? Sorry, im a noob but im jus trying to get started here. ill correct this later. :]

To locate the model and serial number of the PlayStation 3 system, look on the back of the system and locate the bar code sticker. Underneath the bar code you will see the 11-digit serial number followed by the model number which begins with "CECH".
Serial numbers may sometimes be printed on the store receipt.You may also locate the model number by looking on the retail box. It can be found by looking on the top of the box (the side where the handle is located) and is printed below the contents of the box.
