I am new to this sort of stuff and i want to be able use comgenie and Mod on mw3 any steps or any guides would be a great help for me to understand what to do next after i've downgraded my ps3 system. The main thing is want to do it be able to use a mod menu on mw3 i already have a spoofer software on my laptop but u want to be able to open the software on my ps3 am confused on what firmware i should install next please help thanks guys.

Spoofers go on your PS3 not laptop, and never come in a software form. You can install 4.70 Rex rebug through XMB straight from 3.55, then install the spoof pkg file through package manager.
