There was a method for OFW 4.66 or less. Other than that, a E3 is required.

Nope as far as I no the E3 is not up to the task your trying to use it for.

This has been tried and tested and as far as I no not one person has successfully gotten a dump that was usable in any way.

If you have a teensy or progskeet then you can but not with an E3 unfortunately.

I hope this helps but without the board powering up then you cannot use a E3 as best as I can tell. Hence the progskeet or teensy.

Your PS3 has to actually be functional in order to use the E3 Flasher on it...

If you could just have a look on Google then you would find a ton of things about what you have asked.

People have tried to power it externally and failed every time.

So just because some one posts a video on YouTube it must be correct because everyone knows that everything works on YouTube. As for explaining simple did they show you the camera moving from the PS3 to the PC without it being turned off? Was it the same memory card that was used. Was that not a backup from a previous PS3? There is many different ways to fake these things. I am not saying it is fake but you need everything to be shown for actual proof.

A video is only as much proof as is shown and there is nothing proven in that video because we cannot see the memory card being used on the PC or if it was a USB stick or something different.

I am not trying to be funny or anything but have a read of the thread I posted (I may even get wrong for linking to with it being a different site)

But baileyscream who is very well known for downgrades even said that it did not work and I will take his word for it. All we were doing was answering your question which we believe we did there no is no need to say that we are incorrect or this person is without verifying it yourself.
