Post: help bricked PS3

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); my PS3 turns on but comes to a grey screen with the words debugging station, sdk version 355.000 any ideas what this is. I can still access the recovery menu and the console stays on but won't let me do anything and when i try to do something it says I have to quit the game first but there's no game in it. help please

Did you put in " Debug Settings " the Boot Mode in " Debugger " ?

Uhmm so that's the reason..
So you said you can access Recovery Menu but can't do anything right? If I understood wrong and if you can, try re install the SAME Firmware.
Or, because you are on DEX I suppose you have Target Manager installed in your PC. Try connect with it when the PS3 is in that screen and change the boot mode directly from Target manager

Hold ps3 Power Button (beep) ps3 will Boot in xmb normal(Ps3 reset mode), than go debug setting and change Boot mod to System Software Mode

No need to reinstall your firmware. Just open ProDG target manager and connect to your ps3. Change the boot mode to system software mode and you're done Smile
