Make sure you have to newest one installed, also your CFW might not support it. That's a common issue.

But this was the same custom firmware that I had when it worked. You just have to downgrade again to change your Mac address, and I don't think it's a coincidence that when this happened, I had the usb stick in and saw it being used, and that was when it kept quitting.
