There's something called POC Plugin, doesn't work particularly great though as it doesn't work for all games and can cause performance loss.

A VCR, plug the video n audio into the input on the back of the VCR then the output to the TV. Be sure TV/VCR is turned off. Pop in a VHS, press record and vuala.

Can't forget the old ways. N that's the only way I could think of off top of head w/o capture card.

There are ways, but it is honestly best to just invest into a capture card if you are serious about recording.

As Cyber said, save up. The cheapest one is probably a Dazzle, costs around $50-$100
