(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I recently converted to DEX and I have my ethernet cable going from my PS3 to my wireless PC. After I set up and got online, I tried doing some RTM and menus on CoD. Iv always had an open NAT type but now it's strict. I noticed my ip changed to 192.168.137.xx and I have Comcast/xfinity and they only seem to work with IP's that are 10.0.0.x I logged into my router to see if I could do the DMZ thing, but it only will let me change ip's that are 10.0.0.x. Port forwarding didn't change anything as well. I can't change anything while my PS3 ip is 192.168.137.xx. Any ideas or thoughts?

Also, this is my first time posting so if this is in the wrong spot, let me know. Thank you!

Your ps3 IP address is that because you're bridging your connection through your ps3. Why don't you just use the wireless on your ps3? Or look into how to open certain ports while bridging your net.

Haxor!
you most likely have a gateway from comcast. i have a gateway from comcast with 10.0.0.x addresses (and i hate it). so are you using a separate router behind the gateway/modem or when you say you logged into your router is it from comcast?

at any rate if you have a router and the comcast gateway/modem it creates a double NAT which will give you a strict NAT on your consoles. you could try bridging the gateway but comcast hire chimps in their support department and won't be of much help. what i've been forced to do is connect the consoles directly to the gateway to free up the NAT issues.

so you would most likely need to connect the pc wirelessly to the gateway and run off one of the 10.0.0.x addresses to resolve or just connect the ps3 wireless to gateway
