Post: make_fself.exe failing to load properly

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I recently downloaded make_fself in a pack along with true ancestor SELF resigner. The resigner works fine, so does the nice sprx elf builder i got here on NGU, but the make f_self.exe and all the other .exe files in the tools folder open for a split second and then close again. I've tried downloading another copy, messing with the compatibility options, I even tried some "Fixes" i found on YT. Nothing seems to work, which is frustrating. Has anyone else ever had this issue? And if so were you able to fix it? It's been 3 days and I'm ready to call it quits.

use command prompt and type in "cd " and the path of make_fself.
then once the path in cmd is the same as the path of where make_fself is type "make_fself EBOOT.ELF EBOOT.BIN" make sure you elf is name EBOOT.ELF and is in the same folder as make_fself

here is an example :fa:

You must login or register to view this content.

Once you click the EBOOT.BIN will appear in same foler as make_fself.
Hope this helped!

Thanks for your reply. I tried as you've instructed and get "error read EBOOT.ELF" I tried a few times, then it tried to start the process over and now True ancestor tells me it failed to decrypt the EBOOT.BIN, where has it all gone wrong? At least I'm laughing about it for now.

Is the EBOOT Debugged?

To be honest, I'm not sure. It could be since I got it here on NGU. It contains a script bypass for ffflock's texture pack, I was experimenting by trying to add an SPRX call into it, thought it would be relatively easy lol

Ok, so I started the whole thing over using the original game EBOOT.BIN, and I still get the "Error read EBOOT.ELF" message. Maybe I have a missing file or I'm missing a step :/
