Were you perhaps using the Rogero 3.55 999 Downgrader? It seems to be a bug in this firmware where it won't let you upgrade. So what I did was I downgraded to 3.55 OFW. Then I installed Kmeaw's 3.55 CFW and then you can install any 4.x CFW you would like.
