Hmmm. Never had this but use psn ninja it will say be seen again so click that and u will see friends

"Be seen again" is to hide/unhide yourself when using homebrews i believe so they cant see what you're using.

I would suggest you just re-install your firmware if you can't get it to work honestly.

Have you tried logging into a different account? Does it work on there? I would suggest you go into safe mode and try rebuilding database

If you can't see your friends list on all of your accounts then it's a problem with the Custom Firmware, try reinstalling PS3ITA 4.70. I actually recommend going back to 4.50ITA because it's their best creation in my opinion and nothing it wrong with it.
