Post: Tmapi assistance

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello NGU,

I recently purchased the LTS Tool which is definitely F'N'A Bro! However each time I try connecting using TMAPI I get a FC on the tool... I've tried using TotalCurryMan Tool as well and can connect, but it will not attach and gives me an Unhandled exception has occurred in your application error... so i believe my FC issue lies in the attaching stage.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

I'm running Rebug 4.70.1 D-Rex on a CEX to DEX converted console.
ProDG Target Manager that can see and connect to the PS3.
All debug settings as they should be from every youtube video and post I've seen and read (Red Eyed Emoji goes here)... Only thing is that I can not boot any games with Boot Mode set to System Software Mode, so it's currently in Release Mode. When the system is in System Software Mode I just get failed to attach instead of the the Unhandled exception...
I've tried asking in the LTS Tool chat, but it's hard to get back in time to see if anyone answered as you can only see about 5 posts...
Currently using CCAPI 2.6 to use the tool since 2.5 doesn't work with my current CFW.

Thanks!

I also went as far as using Trueancestor to create my own EBOOT to call the "ExtortionGTA.sprx" and yes I know the app adds its own extension, so no it wasn't looking for "ExtortionGTA.sprx.sprx" still couldn't get sprx's to load...

Did you update .NET framework?

It was already updated... I don't think it's the computer side... I can't get the game to load when I'm set to "System Software Mode" tool connects but doesn't attach either, but it doesn't give me the unhandled exception just "failed to attach and LTS still force closes.

WebMan and Cobra are enabled... Debugger Mode = me not being able to figure out why the hell the PS3 would turn on, but the TV would only show no input... So I had to learn a whole new series of things and found that ProDG connects just fine and was able to get out of the Debugging Station by going into Reset Mode and back to Release mode then a little CTRL+R for the reset, dont ask how but I figured this one out on my own. A little background, I just converted to DEX with this current CFW since they made it so easy! Am I somehow loading the game wrong? The BLES is on the internal HDD as I tried this to maybe get the SPRX to load which was done through FileZilla as everyone has said it should be moved. I even created a tmp folder on my desktop and transferred that to the hdd0/ and overwrote it, as I read that helped a few people. Is it maybe a bad BLES copy as it had no Update.rpf to begin with. I had been trying to setup the Extortion Mod Menu and was never able to get any SPRX to load before I finally quit and decided to use a tool... I'm already sourcing a fresh BLES copy to test. IDK I may end up downgrading to something that will run the Extortion Mod Menu like PsITA 4.50 Dex... I'll look for another debug EBOOT before trying anything drastic...

Thanks for your help peeps!

the cfw isn't gonna make a difference there all practically the same nowadays...what you need to do is go into games on filezilla an make sure the folder shows like this
"BLES01807-[GRAND THEFT AUTO V]"
if it shows like this "_BLES01807-[GRAND THEFT AUTO V]"
that means the game is split by either missing a file or the ps3updat.pup file didnt download..if the ps3updat.pup file didnt download then all you have to do is rename the gtav so it doesnt have the dash from there i would install the restoration pkg from kryptus to update to 1.24 once updated to 1.24 you will need a eboot fix to stop the game from exiting to xmb on dex systems

Restoration PKG Updates 1.06-1.24 https://mega.co.nz/#!ZF9CSTRT!Fy6ZKPliynDv61ZWoilFXcfuUxEjcCtSDsz3d0W FSmc

if all else fails add me on skype iitake-notezii an ill take a look

The FIX!

Sourced a new copy of BLES01807
Ran the restoration pkg from @Kryptus (THANK YOU!)
Went to youtube and found the video shown here, grabbed a copy of BLES DEBUG EBOOT GTA.SPRX + FIX.BIN
Renamed the file and added it to the hdd0/game/ NOT game"S"
Game booted right away and installed some stuff no quit to XMB!!
TMAPI works immediately! and now I'm also able to run sprx files!

Thanks to all who chipped in! And a BIGGER THANKS TaKe_NoTeZ for taking time out of his day and Skype with me!
