I've got a jailbroken ps3 but recently I've been getting "an error has occurred during the installation operation (80029563)", If you know how to fix this issue, then it'll be very much appreciated if told how since i have looked all over the internet, but they say Formatting the hard drive fixes this issue, but then here's another question, If i format my jailbroken ps3 hard drive would i lose my jailbreak????? .......

I believe you will not lose your jailbreak as it is on the motherboard itself but if you do you could just reinstall the firmware again. If you have anymore questions please let me know.

Don't format, that will restore the console back to it's factory settings, by wiping the memory, and downloads clean.

Additionally, that sounds like the issue I once faced. What are you trying to download, exactly? (which cfw)

I'm not currently trying to install a 'CFW', i'm trying to install my multiman and blackbox again, to again FTP access, since i was updating my games, and accidently clicked on my spoofed, blackbox that was rename fifa 11, then blackbox and multiman was both deleted now i can not access no PKG that's currently installed or can not install one without getting that bloody error, the only pkg i can access is 'REBUG Toolbox' :/ but that doesn't help me either.

Hmm, I would try and reformatting the hdd but i believe it should not remove all files or jailbreak from your console.

Yes it should not remove the jailbreak as it is into the motherboard if you need any more help please let me know.
