I have the same issue with my dex ps3 it gets so loud and freezes. What I need to do is open it up and clean out all the dust I suggest you try the same thing.

my PS3 used to do that when I installed webMAN mod. I deleted it and it worked fine. But if you don't have webman mod then there's definitely something wrong

I'm guessing you have webman or so? maybe try turning off dynmaic fan control or so and it should do the trick. Smile

Just lower the fan speed using ITA manager, webMan and homebrew with control fan.
