If you get black screen then there maybe something with the game, it is not because psnpatch that this is happening. Game may be corrupted try uninstalling the game and then copying the game to your HDD from the disk then load the game then use psnpatch.

Fixed the psnpatch problem.... I converted the game to ISO now its working

You probably don't get banned but there is always a risk. Nobody can really answer this question.

I've done that before, and I didn't get banned. It's all about luck tbh. Sometimes people get banned and sometimes they dont.
