(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys so I came home today, turned on my PS3 and it's stuck on the wave screen after the rebug start up screen. My nephew was the last one to play on it so idk if he messed with my settings. If anyone can help me out i would appreciate it. Thanks

Yeah you're gonna have to boot into recovery mode and change your firmware like he said. Or reinstall the current one, either works.

You're gonna want to turn the PS3 off then hold power button, you'll hear 2 beeps I believe but hold it until it powers off. Then when it's off hold power button down again, wait until you hear the second beep then let go. Plug your controller via usb into PS3, and go to System Update. Reinstall the firmware or another cfw.

Recovery Mode. Try reinstalling CFW or Restore PS3 System (Removes everything except CFW)

Fuck I decided to try the hard drive thing and now my original hard drive will not align with the slot so I can't put it back in. I didn't get to try to re install the cfw

Adrian is back!
The firmware may be corrupted. I recommend going to safe mode and then install the firmware you were on from there.
