Basically I bought an E3 flasher and went to downgrade my system. After taking apart my system and about 2 hours(literally 2 hours) of trying to get the E3 clip to sit right, I started the downgrade procedure. I made 3 dumps. Checked them all. Patched 1. I put this patched dump back on my sd card. When I went to put it on the ps3, the flash failed because the clip wasn't sitting right. Error 10001100 or whatever the error for bad connection is. It was extremely hard to put the pressure on it for that long. Anyways, I turned the ps3 off to try to put more cardboard in-between the fan/clip, and basically when I plugged it all back together, the ps3 would turn on then turn off. As of right now, it isn't even showing the standby light.

Anything insight? I'm gonna begin to test the voltages to see if I shorted something, but I have no idea. One minute it was working, the next it wasn't.

I have a CECH2501 with minimum firmware 3.40.

You might of broke something on the MoBo.

Usually when you brick a PS3 you get Syscon panic YLOD or you get black screen.

Check power connections for loose or broken wires & if you got one try another internal power supply.

Thanks for the replies guys! So I ended up figuring out what happened. The reason there was no standby light was because the power/eject ribbon cable's connections were getting messed up from taking it in and out. I messed with it until the contacts straightened up enough for it to be used. So the standby light came on.
Once that light was on, I pressed power and it turned on for a second then shut off. So yeah it was a combination of a brick and the power/eject ribbon being messed up.
I connected a wire(without soldering) from the tristate to ground and turned the ps3 on. It stayed on, so I flashed my backup onto the ps3.

All is well for the moment.

Thanks again! I was really confused.
