Lack of RAM, CPU?

Not sure how your good PC is, but that could be one reason. If you do not believe that is the case, you could look at what's causing it. Other tools?

Any ideas on what to do to fix it??

In some cases it can be because of the firewall. But like Kas said above try running it as administrator, if that doesn't work it could be lack of RAM or something. If non of these options work try to uninstall it then reinstall you should be fine.

Right click, properties, compatibility, Check the run compatibility mode box and use drop down menu to select windows xp service pack 3 and apply and this should run fine and resolve your issue.
