Just keep in mind that to high or to low RPM's can run into errors later (may be irreversible {hard drive wise}) 5400 RPM is the standard for PS3, 1200 above or below may damage the hard drive, it's not recommended to go 800 over or below the standard. It will display the RPM on the sticker of the hard drive.
