Usually if you have to apply pressure during the 3 dumps you make then do 1 after you check to see if those were good dumps, if the 4th one succeeded and was another good dump without pressure the go on and start the flashing process.

Put things on top of the clip..... Books and stuff. It's fine to apply pressure actually, its needed in order to get a good connection. That's the reason for bad dumps a lot of the time not a good connection to the chip.

Would it be a good idea to put a game case or two under the board? Im going to cut the metal corner part of the fan before i stack stuff on the clip.
