Post: My Ps3 Freeze

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Every times I turn my ps3 on freezes the only way to turn it off is unplug. btw before I thought the ps3 has no thermal paste I opened the ps3 then I put a new thermal paste and keeps going the same. :(

Usually what happen to my old PS3s before they got YLOD. But what you can do is use a fan mod to help prevent it from overheating. I'd prefer webman or GameSonic Control Fan.

Maybe a firmware corruption, the ps3 cant load the firmware.

That's probably firmware corruption...

Have you tried going into recovery mode? It could be a hard drive issue

If its a firmware problem it wont startup i believe?

Can you boot into safe mode and restore your ps3? (Third option think)
or as adrian said it could be firmware so try and install it via safe-mode/recovery menu.

Freezing on start up or just after playing a game can be early signs of YLOD though . Your CPU/GPU are not getting a good enough connection with the heat sink, or the solder joints have cracked and need to be reflowed.

Yeah the question said that when he turns it on it freezes so i was assuming it was almost straight away.
