Hi, I'm new to jailbreaking, and was wondering what a QA Flagged PS3 is? I've seen it on eBay, and I need to know fast. Thanks Smile

Also, When I get a 3.55 OFW, do I get a 3.55 CFW and THEN update to a CFW 4.75? If so what is the best CFW?
(I know about multiMAN and Install PKG files, that's it.)

QA-Flag is known as Quality Assurance Flag used bye sony devs so unlock special features so to speak.

You need to install 3.55CFW then install QA Toggle pkg and run it when you are going to install a higher cfw above 3.55.If you change firmwares it is recommended that you raise your qa flag before updating past 3.55 at any point.

When you run the qa pkg you will here a series of beeps and your playstation will restart and you can now install your firmware above 3.55 of your choice.

Be sure to start a thread when you have your console so myself or another member can walk you through the steps Smile
