Depending on what game you want a mod menu for you will need CFW to do so. Or you can use USB mod menus on the following games:

Call of duty 4
Modern warfare 2
World at war
Black ops

I bought a JB ps3 yesterday I think the guy deleted the mod menus... any way I'm so clueless on how to get started on adding a mod menu for gta 5 please help

Just look in gta section, there is where u put this in...

First of all are you on CEX or DEX?
If you are on BLES just download the correct EBOOT.BIN which is compatible with your console from over here - You must login or register to view this content.
and also download this update.rpf - You must login or register to view this content.

Once download replace the files in dev_hdd0/game/BLES01807/USRDIR
I would recommend Multiman or FileZilla to replace the files.

I have a MacBook will these downloads work for that
