If you wanted to go back down you simply delete all the updates from it by going in game data utility and deleting the file that corresponds to the game in question and install from like 1.01 to your desired patch so for example. I want to play on 1.09 but there is 20 updates. I just install pkgs numerically from 1.01 to 1.09.

Then you click cancel and play offline. In order to play online you need to have the latest update installed.
