(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So i'm trying to RTM " wireless " and whenever i test connection i get prompted with " The attempt to obtain IP address timed out ". This is what i do, i connect an Ethernet cable from my ps3 to my laptop, i share the connection, go into my ps3, custom, wired and leave everything as is, and when i want to test connection it doesn't optain the ip address. I've already turned off my router, restarted my laptop and PS3 multiple times but nothing. ( BTW when i connect through wifi it works fine.)

On your laptop go to network and sharing then click adapter settings then right click your wifi and press properties click sharing the check the box to allow connection sharing then pick your ps3's for the thing to share with it could be local area connection or Ethernet
