(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello guys, this is my first thread/post or what ever you want to call it. So here's what the problem is: my other PlayStation 3 doesn't seem to show up on my screen, I am aware that the HDMI part of my PS3 doesn't work at all. So I am stuck with AV, my playstation worked for about a week after I bought it, and if you are wondering my PS3 is jailbroken I think on the newest Rebug CEX, I managed to RTM on a few games until my game freezes for what ever reason and then I try to turn it on. It didn't want to turn on, so I tried resetting the display and that didn't seem to work so I decided to use different AV cables which also didn't seem to work, I then try another 2 TV's and no surprise, still didn't work... I wait about 2-3 days to order a new AV Cable ADAPTER and received it a few days later which had the option to have both INPUT and OUTPUT, that also didn't want to work so I tried the putting red, yellow and white wires into the TV with all of the cables I had that didn't work.

PS: I don't know if I should take it to the shop because I don't want my PS3 being reset as it is CFW

PSS: only a green light shows

SUMMARY:
My PS3 doesn't connect with HDMI only AV, the AV only worked for a week before it stopped, my display doesn't work even after display reset, I bought a new AV adapter and that didn't work, also only a green light shows and I don't want to take my ps3 to the shop because I don't want the CFW on my ps3 to go

-Thanks, any one who has the solution, please tell me and you will be rewarded

It's strange because I have seen that video before and it didn't seem to work, I am thinking my AV connection is not good, the AV part on the mother board could be broken, what should I do about this?

If the console is out of warranty from Sony and were ever you bought it from I suggest you open the thing up and look for any loose or missing parts on the motherboard. If you can't find anything your RSX might be fried or you bricked you console. What CFW are you running, is it CEX or DEX and what was the last thing you did on this system. One other thing as well is it Phat or Slim.

I know for sure it isn't bricked, because I looked at the bricked symptoms and I had none, my PS3 is a CECHK btw and it is a CEX, also how do I open the top?

It actually started working for good 20 minutes but it was console banned, nothing was missing and the GPU didn't have anything wrong with, I'm probably going to get some thermal paste and re do it

Probably over heating but not enough to trigger the YLOD. give it a good clean out and reapply the thermal compound and it should be all good. Depending on the firmware version instal fan control utility and put the fan speed up fairly high.

I think it is important to tell you that when I played yesterday, when it started to stop working, the screen was going all messed up with different colour pixels? Do you know what the cause is?

STOP USING THE PS3. You use that console anymore you are going to get a lot more problems. Your RSX is failing so you need to get the console reballed or get some to reball a new RSX onto your ps3. I don't know anyone that does this kinda thing and makes money of it but i have done it twice 1 slim 1 phat and the consoles all started to work agian as they should. If you can pick up a PS3 slim fairly cheap i suggest you get it down graded and jailbreak it as a phat jail broken is a ticking time bomb xD
