I had a couple of questions on using CFW with backups.

1. Often, many games get updates from the original release via patches, where ps3 automatically applies the patches when you start the game.
How does this work on CFW when playing backups? Can I still get update patches? Do I have to do anything special for this?
I certainly wouldn't want to be stuck with the initial release of Assassin's Creed Unity version 1.0, for example.

2. Some newer games require higher level of firmware to run. Since often CFW is behind the version level of OFW, how do you deal with this? Can you still play those games? How?

Thanks.

1. Yes you can still get update packages either by running the game, downloading them on Multiman (on PS3) or using your computer to download it and then transfer it to your PS3 and install.

2. Multiman has a built in function that patches games that require higher firmware than the one you're on, all of which is done automatically when you load the game through Multiman.
