You will need to install a spoofer to get online. Here is a link to the new 4.75 spoof: You must login or register to view this content.. Just download and put it on the root of the usb. Put the usb in the right usb port and install pkg files on the ps3.

If you are on Rebug4.70 Dex u do not need a spoofer as that's what I run with out spoofing to 4.75 if that's what u wanted to know. If u want mod info pm me or quote me

Yes, you are right. DEX requires a lower firmware version than CEX, so you won't need a spoof right now. Currently, it's possible to sign in on 4.70 DEX, but that can change at any moment. It requires Sony to change the minimum firmware requirement for DEX to 4.75, which I personally doubt they'll do anytime soon. Enjoy being able to sign in till Sony decides to stop being lazy!

i have a last question.
how do i get to DEX?

i would do it this way:

i am right now on rebug 4.70.1 cex.. with the rebug toolbox i can dump my eid_root_key, and then i can switch with rebug-toolbox from cex to dex.
after i make the switch, i am on dex..
and now, when i am on dex, i have to install D-REX Cobra 7.1 EDITION via usb-stick.

and then i am on real DEX 4.70 and can log in to psn without a spoofer.



am i on the right way? or is there any mistake?

Yeah you're right. The only other thing is you'll need to restore your console id once you install D-REX or you won't be able to sign. You can use toolbox to restore it.

which one should i take
User EID0: 82 (DEX)
User EID5: 85 (CEX)

CEX bro and also if you set your boot id through CCAPI on dex you will not have to open rebug toolbox everytime you boot up your ps3 :p
