You would need to downgrade with an E3 Flasher. Only some models are downgradable. Models 3001A+ cannot be downgraded. Check the Serial Number and the last 5 characters to see if it is under 3001A. Super Slims cannot be downgraded at all.

3003A cannot be downgraded. I would either buy a 3.55 OFW off of eBay or Craigslist or buy a pre-jailbroken one. As you can see in the picture, it can't be downgraded. The minimum firmware you could go to would be 3.60 and you would not be able to run any homebrew and access any of the features a CFW would have.

3.55 OFW would be around $200 USD. Just go to eBay and search 3.55 OFW. Or you can go to Craigslist and look that up too.
