(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I'm attempting to make a debug self for Metal Gear Solid 4 and cannot get it right.
I've only achieved 2 results, the game will simply crash and return me to the xmb, or it will send me to a black screen forever.

When the game is running CCAPI says it's running off of the self so I'm assuming that's the important file.

Does anyone know how to make this game able to connect to TMAPI?
Do I need to replace the self with an eboot? I don't know much in this regard and any help is welcome.

Here are the things that I think are relevant.

try decrypting the self file with resigner then take the elf and use make_fself and turn it into a EBOOT.BIN file
