Post: CCAPI and FileZilla not connecting to PS3
08-16-2015, 05:06 PM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I'm on rebug cex and ccapi and FileZilla were working perfectly fine but out of nowhere they don't connect anymore. I've checked my ip multiple times and put it right. I've also check for my antivirus and re installed ccapi on pc and PS3 again. Any ideas on how I can fix this issue thanks

If you're on wireless connection and your IP on PS3 is set to automatic, IP address might change from time to time after your PS3 resets.

It hasn't changed. I checked and is still the same old ip? Anything else I can do?

Btw, since you're on a REBUG firmware (REX, I assume), doesn't it have WebMan with a built in FTP connection? If you want to connect to your PS3, launch WebMan settings and check the IP in your PS3 browser. Then type the same IP in filezilla and it should work.

Also what connection type are you using? Wired or Wireless?

I have the same problem on REBUG 4.70 REX and CCAPI and other RTM tools not connecting using Wi-fi. They worked fine before.

If you go on Rebug Toolbox and sit there, it will enable FTP and you can receive connections. I would try this. Do you have the CCAPI Package on the PS3 installed? You need to run it for it to actually install.

Correct, FTP does work though but not CCAPI(lastest version on PS3&PC). Sometimes the tool might connect but it won''t attach. I tried changing the Debug settings for Network to Dual settings, still didn't work and somehow goes back to single settings.
