(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); ive installed my e3 flasher into my ps3 slim (model # CECH-2001A). but when i attempt to do step 1; update e3 with update.bin file, my ps3 fan goes way fast and ps3 shuts off with YLOD. but when i wiggle around the board that replaces the harddrive, sometimes it will stay on. but it still wont go through with the update.bin file. PLEASE HELP!!

the red light will come on on the LED, the 6 green lights go on. but the blue lights that are suppose to be showing up when the update is complete never show

Updating the board has nothing to do with the ps3 itself. It's updating the E3 Flasher, and the only thing your ps3 is doing is providing power the the board. In that case most likely your hard drive connector is broken.
